I am missing the long-ago day
When chaos slipped away
And each evening was calm
Like some soothing, gentle balm
This year has just been Hell
Living in a confining shell
Of such strong necessity
For the sake of all safety
And all of the madness
That relief cannot caress
With a sweet and calming touch
This year is just too much
It is not even summer yet
Worse will still come, I bet
How and when will it all end
When will good come around the bend
I hope that day comes soon
I'll be over the moon
