But be careful that how you do it doesn't leave you down in the mouth with the blues
Fame might last for a brief fifteen minutes, but your conscience always pays the price
If the way that you get that fame doesn't leave you particularly smelling sweet and nice
There are rules that you have got to play by, and you've simply got to play them right
Because earning other peoples' contempt will not ever once help you to fall asleep at night
