Summary: "What're we supposed to do, then," Al snarked back.
"Listen, rookie," Timothy scolded. "There's one thing you gotta learn, and you better learn it fast: A good crook never leaves footprints."
"What're we supposed to do, then," Al snarked back. "Hover over the crime scene like we've got wings? And stop callin' me rookie; it gets on my nerves!"
"Too bad, pal, you're a rookie, whether you like it or not, until you learn better. And don't be such a wiseass. Just watch me, will ya?"
To Al's shock, Timothy began to float lightly over the ground they'd just been walking on.
"Pros don't need wings," he smugly smirked.
Title: 'Good Ideas'
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Notes: Using the prompt: Good
Summary: "What do you do when you run out of good ideas?"
"What do you do when you run out of good ideas?"
"Run out? I'm not sure I know what you mean."
"Oh, come on. Sooner or later, everybody who's in your position runs out of good ideas. It has to have happened to you once in a while."
"Well, yeah. I guess you're right. I guess it sometimes happens to me, just like anybody else."
"Okay, then. In that case, what do you do?"
"I suppose I just latch onto a bad idea, instead, and hope that it all works out."
"How often does it work out?"
"...not too frequently."
Title: 'Crook'
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Notes: Using the prompt: Crook
Summary: Just take some advice
What kind of a crook
Would go by the book
And get a left hook
From some kinda mook
You're no kinda pro
If you just let it go
Like some kids in the snow
Nope; it you sure will blow
Just take some advice
If you want to play nice
Just split with the ice
And don't ever think twice
It is not a cool life
There's plenty of strife
And the rumors are rife
That you'll soon get the knife
Just try to hold on
Before you are gone
Hey, you'd better run
That guy's got a gun
Hoping that this is acceptable; I just couldn't resist the chance. 👼🏼
