Summary: He fought to think of a valid excuse. Then, something clicked.
"Joey! What the hell happened in here?!"
Joey cringed, turning to face an irate Monica. He stood in a pile of glitter, and was coated solidly in it.
"I, uh..." He fought to think of a valid excuse. Then, something clicked. "I was attacked! By glitter ninjas!"
Monica glared steadily at him. "Glitter ninjas. Go on."
"And there was nowhere to run; I couldn't escape," he continued, his enthusiasm for the fib building. "They were armed with some kinda powder that knocked me unconscious. When I woke up..." He motioned to his sparkly self. "This!"
"I'll give you credit," Monica said, though she was shaking her head. "You came up with an interesting story."
"But you don't believe me?"
"Nope. Oh, and, by the way, you know you're cleaning this up, don't you." There was a firmness in Monica's voice that told Joey plainly that no arguments would get him out of that one. "You made the mess with my crafting supplies. That makes you responsible for tidying everything up again."
"Okay," Joey sulked. He looked around, whining: "But glitter! Mon, that's gonna take forever to clean!"
She smirked. "Should've thought of that before you let the glitter ninjas in."
