Title: 'Blinding Rays'
Fandom: Original Poetry
Characters/Pairings: None
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: Everyone says that there is nothing new
Anytime the sun into the far-off sky rises
What is it to all of us going to bring
The plain-faced truth, or just ugly disguises
Everything we wish for, or simply nothing
Beneath its brightening and blinding rays
Everyone says that there is nothing new
The same old games that everyone always plays
And people doing the best or worst that they can do
As this wheeling world goes around and around
Spinning around that churning plasma ball
We think we're letting go of the ground
But do we really fly so high, or do we only fall
