Title: Princess Joshua's Debut
"You'd rather hunt monsters out on the coast than work security at Jenis Royal Academy?" Scherezade frowned, "You've got a weird sense of fun."
"I... I just think my skills are better suited to extermination jobs than anything social,"
"Are you saying you're scared of talking to high schoolers?"
He blushed, "I'm just saying I want to find my speciality. And the monster sounds tough, I need more challenging jobs if I'm ever going to become a full Bracer."
"Bracers need to be all-rounders and this is a prestigious job. Rumour has it there's royalty from Grancel among the students," said their mentor, folding her arms, "C'mon, there's gonna be food, maybe booze, pretty young guys..."
"I know why he won't go back to Jenis," commented Estelle, suppressing a snort of laughter.
"Don't you DARE..."
"Is a girl involved?" Schera abruptly interrupted the now red-faced male trainee Bracer.
"Several," she smirked, "And they made him dress up in drag, then perform on stage."
"Oh, so that really happened? With the Princess dress and the long wig? If only I'd been there."
Joshua wondered if he could die without a trace if he found fierce enough monsters on the coast.
