Asmodeus and he, they were supposed to be the genetic ideal. Ideal for what, it varied slightly. They were physically and mentally peak possible humans, with some augmentations, including as much symbological force as a human mind could channel. Asmodeus was the perfect scientist, he was the ultimate warrior. They would respectively lead the security and research division. After the accident that left them scattered, without resources or communication, nobody came for their alleged precious, gifted paragons. 

 

Neither of them lay down and died like weaklings. They had grabbed their own destiny, conquered nations of their own. Their own ideals.
