Summary: "Ugh!"
"Ugh!"
Caught short by Phoebe's sudden outburst, Ross and Chandler stopped in their tracks. She stood in front of the window of a shop. On the other side of the glass was a display of the usual tacky souvenirs.
Chandler grinned; this should be interesting. "What's up, Pheebs?"
She pointed, disgusted. "That!"
They looked for themselves, spotting a rack with keyrings--among which were lucky rabbits' feet.
"Who the hell decided that it was a good idea to cut the foot off of a poor, innocent rabbit," she continued, "and stamp it with the claim that it was lucky?"
"Well, from the standpoint of American folklore," Ross began, only to back nervously away when Phoebe turned on him.
"I was asking metaphorically," she shouted. "It's just barbaric!"
"Not to mention that it doesn't work," Chandler pointed out. "If it was lucky, the rabbit would still have it."
"Exactly! The poor thing wouldn't have died so humans could have a good-luck charm!"
Ross raised a finger. "Actually, sometimes, the paw would be cut off while the rabbit was still..." He trailed off at the sight of Phoebe's horrified face.
Chandler clapped him on the shoulder. "You're even dumber than Joey."
