Title: The Rabbit and the Witch
For the Attention of the Young Miss Bright,
I apologise for the lack of contact. I've been very busy as of late and I have found it more difficult to keep in contact with old friends since leaving our mutual network. How have you fared since your own departure? I have been rather tied up with affairs in Erebonia. You would not like the Empire at the moment, far too many stuffy grown-ups thinking they're better than everyone else. Were you here, I'm sure there would be a lot fewer. I heard tell of another young lady who joined the Society recently, by the way, who shares your appreciation for the art of bloodshed. I think you and Shirley would have some interesting conversations together, were you to meet. I respect your decision to leave the Society, though - I find that my own interests have diverged somewhat of late, too.
I saw two other children, by the way, probably a little younger than you are now, but who reminded me a lot of you. They call themselves the 'Black Rabbit' and 'White Rabbit', titles that reminded me of the stuffed rabbit you carry everywhere with you. Do you still have it? It's a shame that our leaders aren't on good terms at the moment or I'd introduce them to you.
Anyway, I hope you're enjoying your new life, and that you'll take the opportunity to work out who you are and what kind of adult you want to grow into. Myself, I'm trying to get back into the things that matter most to me, that I've been neglecting to the point that they seriously need my attention. I made some mistakes and now they need fixed.
Keep an eye on our Liberlian friends for me,
yours truly,
Vita Clotilde
