Grasping the Master's arm, the Doctor guided him out of Tegan's earshot. "Don't you think that reducing people to the size of dolls is a childish way to kill them," he asked softly. "Your modus operandi is rather petulant."
Eyes glittering cruelly, the Master grinned. "I find it convenient," he replied breezily. "It's far more tidy than blades, and more subtle than a gun. What method of homicide would you advise, Doctor?"
"You're missing the point," the Doctor muttered, turning away in disgust. He shuddered, a chill rising up his spine at the light, contemptuous laughter coming from behind him.
