Most of Corona's animal friends enjoyed petting - not in a domestic way but in a worryingly intelligent, perfectly aware of the mutual benefits and long term effect on morale of group bonding way.

Some animals were easier to pet than others.

A cat or a dog Johnny's size were easy to pick up and hug. The squirrel, too. The penguin was a little slippery to keep hold of, the dinosaur too large to hug a decent portion of, the lion's mane often on fire.

And he wished the Raccoon Dog would stop turning into the girl of his dreams.
