“Thup?” Singha asked, quickly pulling him out of the street and into an empty alleyway. “What’s wrong? What do you see?”

After a few moments, Thup blinked, his eyes refocusing onto Singha.

“There’s a ghost of a young little girl following him.” Thup whispered, nodding his head toward a man still standing in the street.

Thup shivered—grabbing Singha’s forearm in a tight grip, his breath becoming fast and anxious.

“Singha, she has a belt around her neck.”
