Spike leaned against a crypt. Somehow the training session with the Potentials had turned into a Q&A panel about vampires.
Buffy had left it to his discretion, and he figured that learning straight from the source was a valuable opportunity.
The next question came from Kennedy. “Do you miss it?”
“Painting the town red?” He smirked. “It was easier without a conscience. To make the blood splash and sing, like a gruesome work of art. The beast inside me craves it all the time. Now it’s up to me to choose what kind of artist I want to be.”
