[Challenge #388: Bone] Original Poetry: 'Through The Woods'
Title: 'Through The Woods'
Fandom: Original Poetry
Characters: Original
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG (Some eerie imagery)

Summary: Little you'll see in the absence of light
Never walk through the woods by night
You know not what you may find there
Little you'll see in the absence of light
And much you'll find; therefore take care
The thumps and whispers that you'll hear
And the bones that will crunch under your feet
Will make you shake in your coat, and wish near
Your home you were, with tea strong and sweet
Nature has ways to look out for its own kind
As do all unnatural things 'neath each tree
So you'd best be advised not to be blind
Lest the trees never let you go free
