“There you are,” said Buffy, approaching Dawn. “I had to track your phone to find you. Why did you come to the kitchenware department?”
“You were taking forever to pick your lingerie, and I came to the mall because I wanted to find a present for Spike.”
Buffy rolled her eyes looking at the shelves. “There should be a limit to the number of offending novelty mugs you buy for him.”
“C’mon, it’s our New Year’s tradition,” she said, grabbing one. “Here: ‘I’m retired, but I work part-time as a major pain in the ass’.”
“Works perfectly for you too.”
