Title: Fallen Knight
Oersted laid Brion reverently on top of Hasshe's grave. It was the least he could do for the old man. No longer a Knight, having broken every oath he had made, Oersted did not deserve to look upon the legendary blade.
The circumstances leading up to his disgrace as a hero may have been a series of deceptions and misunderstandings but what he was now, what he had deliberately allowed himself to become, was all his own fault.
Maybe, he mused, one day a real hero would pick up this blade again. He'd try to teleport them into the vicinity.
