Kenpachi leads, Isane follows, and the dance goes on.

Sweat dampens her hair as the large cut sews itself under her hands.
Half of it does; Isane spins away in time as the cleaver –Nozarashi– comes down fast, hacking the incoming blast in half. Another swing. Another slash. The wound tears again, and she risks a second dance behind him, hands over his naked back, deftly mending his skin.
“Watch it, Kotetsu.” Captain Zaraki warns, a grin in his voice. “It's coming.”
“Almost done.” And… “There!”
A laugh rumbles within him. “Atta girl!”
She hops to the sidelines, watching Zaraki Kenpachi storm ahead, his glee thundering across the battlefield.
