Summary: "She didn't?"
"I just saw Phoebe almost get arrested."
At the sound of Rachel's announcement, Monica nearly choked on her drink. "What did she do?"
"Some guy was rude to her about her music. He said it 'wasn't up his avenue'."
"That is rude, but not enough to provoke Phoebe."
"It provoked her enough to call him a snob," Rachel responded. "And then the guy called her a philistine who should burn her guitar, since she didn't know the first thing about music. You can guess how well that went over. Phoebe may not really have any talent as a musician, but we all know how happy it makes her to play her guitar."
Monica winced. "I'll bet that was ugly. I'm amazed that she didn't knock the poor jerk's block off."
Rachel gave her a pointed stare. "What makes you think she didn't?"
"Oh, no," Monica gasped. "She didn't?"
"Right now, that idiot's lying on the sidewalk somewhere, unconscious. And, of course, a cop had to be nearby. Phoebe dropped that 'Regina Phalange' alias of hers, ran like Hell, and I was stuck trying to convince the cop that I'd been minding my own business, and didn't know anything about it!"
