Curufin caught the large roll of cloth that Celegorm shoved at him. “What is it?”
“Finrod’s weavers have invented some new technique, and he had to give me a carpet to show it off.”
Curufin laughed. “You don’t want this work of art?”
“What’s the use? Huan would only shed on it and get it dirty. Wouldn’t you, boy?” Celegorm beckoned, and Huan eagerly bounded over.
“Where are you going now?”
“To hunt wolves with Huan! I can make the fur into a rug, and no one will care about Huan’s muddy paws.”
