You kneel in the dust, coughing and weary. Over you looms your foe: The embodiment of the darker side of your nature.
"Look at you," he sneers. "Every inch Hyrule's hero, aren't you? How well you played your role." His head tilts, and you fight a shiver at his gleaming, hate-red eyes. "Did you think that you'd win?"
His laugh is low and bitter, like night encased in sound. Crouching before you, he cups your chin with an almost cruel tenderness.
"Such a fool," he purrs. "Didn't you realize? You're in my game now. And I play for keeps."
