Summary:
'Hob! Hob! Hob!' The dreams chanted as the gathered around Dream and Hob. Many of them reached out to shake Hob's hand.
When Dream decided to bring Hob into Dreaming, he hadn’t expected the dreams to be chanting Hob's name. He certainly hadn't expected to be surrounded by quite possibly every dream in Dreaming; Many of who were holding up hand-made signs that read things like, 'We Heart Hob'.
He picked a dream out of the crowd. 'What is the meaning of this?'
'It is Hob Gadling,' the dream said with its top mouth. Its bottom mouth was smiling as it broke dream's gaze to look at Hob.
'And?' Dream asked because that didn't explain anything at all. Of course Hob was Hob. He was no one else.
'He's the most famous dreamer to ever dream. Most humans don't live long, but Hob has lived long enough that every dream has gotten a chance to visit him.'
Dream looked over at Hob and he had a big smile on his face. Perhaps it wasn't so bad that the dreams were enamored with Hob, it was not hard to be enamored with the human if Drean did say so himself.
