"Wow," Max chuckled. "Think you've got enough decorations up, Ted?"
Ted's house looked like a composite of every Christmas card that anyone had ever received in the recent history of the holiday. Shimmering angels competed for space with toy-laden sleighs and dancing elves up on the rooftop. Huge inflatable Grinches and Santas and hologram-plastic ornaments cluttered up the lawn. Even Ted's RV had been done up to look like a massive gift, and everything was outlined in rows of LED lights.
Ted grinned sheepishly. "Do you suppose I overdid it this year?"
"Maybe a little bit. Just maybe."
