Micky shrieked, tossing his book into the air. He glared at Mike. "Why'd you sneak up on me? I was reading a scary murder mystery, for your information!"
"So why be so scared," Mike teased, retrieving the book. "Ain't like it's a scary movie that you need to be coddled after seein'."
"Read it, yourself, and you might reverse your opinion," Micky responded, finding his place again.
"I'll take your word for it, Shotgun."
A few days later, though, Micky was gratified to notice Mike reading the selfsame book, shivering with fear as he turned every page.
