Night Vale is a place where anything can happen. Anything at all. Literally. Good, bad, or indifferent, if it's at all imaginable, then chances are good that it will happen right here in this town, or at least in its general vicinity.
Carlos doesn't know what to think of the whole thing. This is out of his purview. And that, in turn, is simultaneously terrifying and exhilarating.
Who knows what the next bizarre development will be, or what might trigger it? Who can say? For all Carlos knows, merely whistling might be enough to tear apart the fabric of reality.
