Title: Our Glorious Leader of the Retreat
Natasha had led the Shining Force several times in the absence of Prince Nick or Deanna. Now the danger was over, she'd been declared a qualified Force leader and the overall co-leader of Deanna's new expedition.
She would consider it more of an honour if she didn't know the exact reason she was chosen: because she could cast Egress. Teleporting an entire squad out of danger was a rare ability but nobody wanted to admit they'd been put in charge of retreating, especially young people who considered themselves heroes.
Besides, she wanted to be much more than 'co-leader' to Deanna.
