[Challenge #169: Flip] Original Fiction: 'Wrapping'
Title: 'Wrapping'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Characters: Original
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Notes: Crossposted to
adventdrabbles
Summary: I love this.
I'm all but bouncing in my chair as I set to work wrapping. The box is small, but what's inside is fantastic.
I love this. The anticipation. The realization that the recipient of this gift will absolutely flip out. The excitement that's so great, I'm almost fumbling with the tape.
Wrapping, to be honest, is something I've never been good at. Even after so many years, I still get the paper creased a bit wrong, need to mend a tear or two sometimes.
But it's what's inside that matters, in the end. That's what they say.
That's enough for me.
