"I'd take you right here, right now," Dee growled into Ryo's ear, "if I thought we could get away with it." He'd made it look as though he was innocently bumping into his coworker, but he hesitated where he stood, the bulge in his pants pressing heatedly into Ryo's backside. Behind the folder keeping their faces hidden, Dee sucked Ryo's ear lobe.

Ryo shut his mouth tightly, but a moan escaped. His fingers curled around his desk. "Dee!"

"I know, I know." Dee sighed resignedly and moved away, simultaneously dropping the folder he'd carried as a shield. He winked. "But don't think I don't want to, babe. I wish the whole world could know about us."

Ryo sighed. So did he! It had been so hard meeting one of Dee's past flames today in front of the Chief and being introduced merely as his partner. The suspicious look she'd given them had quickly been explained when Dee had told him, as soon as they'd managed a moment of privacy, that he had left her for a guy. He didn't want the woman any more. He made it consistently clear that his heart, and body both, belonged to Ryo and Ryo alone, but it still hurt to be introduced as nothing more than his partner. Their partnership was far from fake, but it was so much more than anybody else knew.

"You say the word, and the whole squad will know who you belong to, and who I belong to."

"Ry! You know we can't do that!"

"I know, sweetheart," Ryo whispered huskily. "Doesn't mean I don't want to. Just wait 'til we get off and I'll show you in the parking lot how damn much I do want you."

The door opened just then, and they had to quiet as another officer entered. It was hours later before Ryo finally got an opportunity to walk up behind Dee and wrap his arms around him. "I know you want me, baby," he whispered into his ear, now sucking his lobe. "I want you too, but it can't happen in the parking lot either."

He snatched himself away as the elevator settled. Dee sauntered boldly out with a growl, "Then you'd better speed."

Ryo blushed. He knew it had to be his imagination, but it felt like an every eye was on him. He quickly followed behind his boyfriend, knowing no one would dare say anything to him with Dee near. Still he could meet none of their gazes -- and he continued to burn with everything in him to get Dee home. He tossed him the keys.

"Smart man," Dee said, nodding approvingly. He could definitely get them home the quickest.

Ryo glanced behind them. The other officers didn't know -- they couldn't possibly know -- that Dee was his, but it somehow felt as though they did. He smiled. Some day, they'd know, but it didn't matter now. Dee was his; he was Dee's. They both knew, agreed wholeheartedly, and would soon be proving it again.
