Title: Sweet Golden Bell
It began like any other pleasant sunny day in the village. The Goose lay with his feet and head tucked into his wings, snoozing. Then he heard the sweet, melodic ringing.
He remembered what it meant. The small, shiny, sparkling golden bell. He'd managed to take it already, several times, so he could watch and listen to them himself, to hoard them and try to impress his lady friends. Afterwards, the humans always replaced it. From the fuss they put up whenever he went near it, chasing him with various objects, it was important.
The chase was his favourite game.
