Dagble 130 floats quietly, alone through the cold of space. It is an orphan planet, cast away in a moment of gravitational upheaval around the star that it once orbited. It's drifting in the cold, unfeeling darkness.
The Doctor watches it, frowning softly. "I know how you feel, poor thing," he murmurs.
But Dagble 130 does not hear his words; and, even if it could, the planet might not necessarily care that a kindred spirit is gazing out sympathetically.
Perhaps they're not such close kin, though, he realizes. At least he can find a spark of warmth every so often.
