Title: It's Thinking
When nobody else was around, Altina liked to sit in the rear train car and watch Valimar.
Not that the sleeping colossus ever did anything until its Awakener called it into battle, its eyes would light up and it would soar away. However, she knew it was only resting, pondering the world, maybe dreaming. Whenever Altina spoke to it, the machine usually had an answer. She asked it many searching questions, trying to discern whether or not it really had a mind, a consciousness - a real personality.
Maybe eventually she could also decide if that were true of her.
