Pyra no longer gets the blackouts or the memory gaps when they change over. In fact, she realises she's becoming the dominant of the two. When someone takes out Mythra, she's the one left standing, still enduring everything. It's useful in battle when everyone assumes Mythra is dominant.

They both write letters to each other as records. Some of these can get very personal and Rex is forbidden to snoop on pain of immediate fiery death. Sometimes they leave small gifts for each other. It's hard to keep Tora from finding them but he just blushes and keeps quiet.
