Tanaka likes to think that he's a decent human being, that he doesn't have the sort of personality that would enjoy watching other people suffer. He has a reputation for being a gentle person, and he sees no reason to take from that, except for the occasional act that requires him to act out of character.
But he's so sick and tired of receiving all of the Thai kicks every single year. When the other members occasionally have to endure them, he feels a certain satisfaction.
